Full Stack Software Engineer

Job Title: Full Stack Software Engineer (Level 6)
Location: NMUST BE LOCATED IN DAYTON (100% Onsite, Shift-Based)
Clearance Requirement: Active TS/SCI
Certifications: IAT Level II (or higher)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer (Level 6) to provide real-time system support, integration, and incident response for mission-critical applications within a high-security environment. This role requires hands-on experience across the software development lifecycle, with a strong focus on maintaining uptime, integrating system enhancements, and ensuring continuous delivery through Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide 24/7 real-time system monitoring and incident response across shift-based operations.

• Design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java and Python.

• Administer and operate within Linux-based environments for mission system support.

• Support CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments (Docker), and automated workflows.

• Ensure software reliability, performance, and security compliance.

• Interface with cross-functional teams to integrate and test system enhancements.

• Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and implement corrective measures.

• Document system procedures, configurations, and development lifecycle updates.

• Adhere to Agile practices, attending scrums, planning, and retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Java and Python development.

• Strong background in Linux system environments.

• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.

• Familiarity with Docker and microservices architecture.

• Working knowledge of Agile development methodologies.

• Understanding of secure coding practices and information assurance.

• Ability to work independently in a mission-critical, fast-paced environment.

Certifications:

• Must meet IAT Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA Security, CySA+).

Work Conditions:

• 100% Onsite at NGA facilities.

• Shift-based schedule (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required).

• Must maintain active TS/SCI clearance.
