Job Description

Job Title: Commissioning Liasion

Reporting to: Reliability Manager

Exempt/Non Exempt: Exempt

CM level: Engineering Services-P3

Job Summary: Commissioning Liaison will be responsible for coordinating with teams across all areas of the business to build and maintain sustainable processes, procedures, and reporting around new site startup. This includes coordinating with development and the general contractors to ensure all baseline operational deliverables are understood and incorporated into contracts, onboarding and training new site teams in general commissioning and turnover responsibilities, working with various application teams to ensure new sites seamlessly report into the building maintenance system (BMS) upon "go-live" and tracking/reporting progress towards accomplishing these tasks to leadership.

Job Description:

  • Interface with site teams and leadership to capture and standardize turnover requirements for green field sites, site expansions and major infrastructure upgrades.

  • Interface with the development team to ensure inclusion of standardized turnover requirements into scope and contracts.

  • Establish and maintain project tracking and reporting of key site turnover requirements to the operational team.

  • Support site teams in completion of turnover requirements prior to accepting operational responsibility, including asset onboarding, technician training, as-built turnover/review/storage, inspection and certifications validation.

  • Maintain alignment between development and operations regarding reporting of square footage and power capacity - basis of design, installed, and commissioned.

  • Coordinate with procurement to ensure an accurate inventory of purchased equipment is maintained, transferred as required to builds in-progress.

  • Coordinate with general contractor, site operations team, and client admins to ensure all assets with associated required attributes are uploaded in building management system and client repository prior to turnover.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent coordination skills between multiple stakeholders, third-party contractors, consultants and clients.

  • Ability to maintain positive relationships and communication with staff, management, and customers.

  • Project management experience

  • PMP (or other relevant certification)

  • Knowledge of the following software tools: ServiceNow, CAD, CMMS

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Military schooling or equivalent.

Years of Experience:

  • Six or more years of professional experience in mission critical construction, commissioning, and/or operations.

Skills/Certification:

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as excellent organization, multi-tasking, prioritizing, and teamwork skills.

  • Excellent coordination skills between multiple stakeholders, third-party contractors, consultants and clients.

Ability to maintain positive relationships and communication with staff, management, and customers.

Physical Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking for long periods

  • Requires long periods of sitting and screen time

Estimated compensation for this position:

180,000.00 - 215,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
