The Oral History Master of Arts Program at Columbia University is seeking an instructor for our Multimedia Storytelling Course in Spring 2026. The course will introduce students to critical issues in working at the intersections of oral history, multimedia documentary art, and storytelling and guide them through the process of creating their own multimedia work. Class meets once a week for 3 hours. The appointment will be housed in the Sociology Department. Read more about our faculty, students, and existing courses: http://oralhistory.columbia.edu/ * MA/MFA required; PhD preferred * Demonstrated excellence in teaching, ideally at the advanced undergraduate or graduate level. * Active creative practice. * Experience in oral history, storytelling, multimedia production, documentary arts, or related fields. * Must be able to teach in person in New York City.
