Due to tremendous growth our national call center is adding experienced Sr. ADMISSIONS COORDINATORS at our regional office conveniently located in Brentwood, TN Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Position Summary: The Senior Admissions Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for prospective patients seeking addiction treatment nationwide. This role requires advanced listening, communication, and assessment skills to engage compassionately and effectively with callers-including patients, family members, and loved ones-to understand their unique needs.

The coordinator guides each conversation toward a suitable treatment recommendation and facilitates the admission process. All interactions are documented accurately and thoroughly in the MS4 system to ensure continuity and quality of care.

Success in this role requires strong knowledge of patient rights, psychiatric and addiction treatment, and health insurance terminology. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, effective communication, excellent listening skills, empathy, and the ability to read verbal and non-verbal cues are essential for delivering patient-centered support and collaboration.

Schedules Available:

Tuesday-Saturday (Sunday-Monday off) 2pm-10:30pm

Job Duties:

  • Responds promptly and professionally to phone calls, emails, chats, and texts from prospective patients, referral accounts, mobile assessors, and business development representatives.
  • Records all patient-related interactions and information completely and accurately in MS4, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Makes appropriate contact attempts and follows up with patients associated with open files or as directed by management.
  • Identifies outpatient leads and routes them to the appropriate team member; notifies the Referral Account Team as per protocol for all referral-related interactions.
  • Asks strategic questions to determine how patients heard about FRN and accurately tracks referral source information.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate/Equivalent required, Vocational/Tech School preferred
  • Minimum of 1-3 years experience required, 3-5 years preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of patient's rights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Excellent listening skills, genuine empathy, and the ability to recognize verbal and non-verbal cues
  • Strong knowledge in psychiatric and addiction treatment and administration
  • Strong understanding of health insurance and insurance industry nomenclature
