PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION Perform non-routine planning and scheduling assignments that require the selection and application of complex scheduling principles and techniques on highly complex or multiple projects. This role is responsible for leading and coordinating team members and processes to implement planning and scheduling strategy on our projects. Generate and recommend mitigation options to correct scheduling problems on a project and assist site management in implementing mitigation measures Coach, mentor, and train other team members in scheduling methods Collaborate with Business Development on proposals, including leading successful project pursuit strategy with regard to project schedule and risk identification and mitigation strategy development Support roll-out of all company-wide training plans Coordinate and lead corporate planning and scheduling improvement initiatives and best practice sharing Effectively work and build relationships with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires the following with or without an accommodation; sitting, walking, standing, lifting, climbing, pushing, pulling, hearing, visual acuity, and utilization of a computer and office equipment. This person must be physically capable of reviewing a jobsite multiple times daily. The working environments consist of exposure to dirt, heat, noise, dust, and outdoor weather; as well as indoor and climate-controlled settings.
