Position Overview:

Henry Ford Health Jackson is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Pain Clinic team, working 40 hours per week. This position offers an excellent opportunity for new graduates with prior nursing experience who are passionate about pain management. The provider will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions. Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a collaborative approach to care are essential for success in this role.

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Specialty/Invasive Nurse Practitioner (NP) will work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The Specialty/Invasive NP will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, education, consultation, and care coordination as a first line provider to patients and their families. Provides inpatient and/or outpatient medical care. Works in collaboration with attending physicians, advanced practice providers, consultants, house officers, nurses, and other members of the medical care team to ensure that patient outcomes are achieved safely and efficiently. Specific procedures as per credentialing as indicated by training and experience. Works in one of the following departments: Cardiovascular Medicine, Emergency Medicine, ICU, Interventional Radiology, Nephrology, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Oncology, Orthopedics, Otolaryngology, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, Surgery, Urgent Care, Urology. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Master's degree in nursing. CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED: Current certification as a Certified Nurse Practitioner. Current State license as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS. Current ACLS/ATLS/PALS provider status as required by department.
