Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties:Assist students, answer student questions, and perform front counter customer service; Assist with registration processes; Receipt payments - AR and Non-AR; Print student statements and mail to students; Balance cash drawer daily and prepare daily deposits; Post miscellaneous charges to student accounts (parking fines, etc.); Reconcile and post miscellaneous deposits (Roost, Athletics, Cosmetology, etc.); *Prepare sponsor invoices and enter sponsorships for school districts and other third-party providers;Prepare and verify financial aid disbursement files for student refunds; Assist students with BankMobile and Nelnet related issues; Maintain DFA tax setoff lists;Monitor and maintain accounts sent for collection; Prepare and gather year end reports such as cash drawer reports, inventory reports from various areas, postage reports (includes all 3 campuses)Assist with supporting the business office personnel on the Arkansas County campuses; Serve as back up to switchboard; Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications: Associate's degree in business, accounting or related field preferred. Three years of experience in a related field required. Experience/knowledge in a higher education setting preferred. Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required. Experience with computerized accounting systems, such as WorkDay, preferred. Must be willing to work flexible hours and as part of a team.
