OVERVIEW The Corporate Project Engineer II, will manage a series of capital projects varying in size and complexity. The individual in this position is expected to gather requirements and develop preliminary project solutions, as well as prepare cost estimations, project evaluations, and business justifications for their assigned projects. The Corporate Project Engineer II is also expected to work with external engineering partners and internal Operations customers to provide solutions, select equipment, evaluate designs, and develop budgets. They are expected to work cross-functionally to make sure all aspects of the projects are identified and risk is evaluated, highlight and mitigated.Most projects will involve a high level of coordination with Operations and hands-on engineering which will require time spent in the field during development and execution.This is an individual contributor role; and the individual in this role will require a demonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and make decisions. DETAILED ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
  
 Develop Scopes of Work (SOWs) for project engineering, execution and equipment installationWork with Procurement to recommend qualified contractorsand conduct pre-bid walkthroughs with contractors; work with Procurement to review / condition contractor proposals and award contractsWork closely with Procurement and Operations teamto comply with Corporate StandardsParticipate in / lead HazOp and HACCP studiesManage installation of approved projects under Project Manager's supervisionEstablish project team, facilitate meetings, and document team activitiesEnsure contractors work in accordance with all safety requirements; monitor contractors to ensure quality workmanship; authorize payment to contractorsEnsure project installation adheres to designand manage project cost and scheduleProvide spend projections using AnaplanDevelop designs for field-detailed items and implement design changes as requiredCommunicate and resolve problems in a timely mannerPlan and lead commissioning efforts including supporting resourcesEnsure Stores has the appropriate spare parts on-hand prior to commissioning and hand-overPlan and lead training efforts including supporting resourcesSupport post-project completion auditSupport development of long-term CapEx project pipeline
 
 
 WORK EXPERIENCES 
 
  
 Minimum of5 years of experience as a Project Engineer or in an engineering related positionwithin a manufacturing environmentIndustry experience in Food Production, Food & Beverage or CPG industry is a plusSkilled in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint requiredAbility to read and understand CAD drawings; ability to edit CAD drawings Intermediate capabilities with MS Project or similar softwareSolid verbal and written communication skillsAbility to prepare and read PFDs and P&IDsIndustrial food processing experience a plusExperience with GMP Practices and Sanitary Design a plusExperience with OSHA Regulations and/or regional HSE Regulations preferredExposure to and ability to participate in HAACP audits preferred
