Job Summary:

We're seeking a missiondriven Mental Health Supervisor to lead clinical operations and people across adult and adolescent PHP, Day Treatment, and IOP tracks. You'll directly supervise approximately 20 clinical team members while partnering closely with nursing and psychiatry colleagues. While you may occasionally fill in for programming, this role is heavily leadershipfocused. This position is Monday - Friday during standard clinic hours.

Key Position Details:

United Hospitaldelivers a comprehensive continuum of behavioral health care across four programs: Adult & Adolescent Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Adult Day Treatment, and Adolescent Day Treatment/Intensive Outpatient (IOP).

What You'll Do

  • Lead & Coach a HighPerforming Team
    Provide daytoday supervision, coaching, and performance reviews for ~20 direct reports. Foster a culture of clinical excellence, equity, and continuous improvement across onsite and remote staff.

  • Oversee Program Operations (Adult & Adolescent PHP, Adult Day Treatment, Adolescent DT/IOP)
    Track census and throughput; ensure adherence to evidencebased models and regulatory standards; coordinate care transitions.

  • Run Smart, Balanced Schedules
    Build and adjust schedules to meet census, acuity, and modality needs. Support a hybrid team while ensuring the Supervisor presence is onsite.

  • Champion Quality & Outcomes
    Monitor KPIs (e.g., engagement, noshow rates, LOS, patient satisfaction). Lead reviews and implement action plans to drive measurable improvements.

  • Collaborate Across Disciplines
    Partner with nursing, psychiatry, and administrative teams to optimize workflows, safety, documentation, and patient experience.

  • Step In When Needed
    Provide coverage for programming during staffing gaps, maintaining smooth operations and clinical continuity.

Job Description:

Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in mental health therapy or related field

  • 3+ years in mental health and addiction services

  • 2+ years in leadership

Licenses/Certifications

  • Licensed Ind Clinical Social Worker - MN Board of Social Work required or

  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - MN Board of Behavioral Health & Therapy required or

  • Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist - MN Board of Marriage and Family Therapy required

  • Licensed Psychologist - MN Board of Psychology required

Physical Demands

  • Medium Work*:

  • Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally (*Allina Safe Patient Moving Policy), up to 25 lbs. frequently

Pay Range

Pay Range: $41.28 to $57.11 per hour The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
