DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will be part of our agency's senior management team and report to the Director of COSA. Your work will ensure that our teams have the fiscal resources they need to effectively continue planning, coordinating, and administering programs and services for the County's aging population. Responsibilities of this role involve applying advanced accounting principles and procedures to administer the fiscal operations and supervising fiscal staff. This includes preparing the agency's budgets and sub-budgets, maintaining various accounts to reflect cost categories, preparing fiscal reports for various stakeholders, and overseeing the agency's timekeeping system. You will also liaise with the County Controller, Treasurer's office, and auditors. Our team will rely on you to oversee the maintenance of all agency fiscal records to reflect accurate fiscal status at all times. Advance your career and make a difference with us! - Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as a County Fiscal Officer 2; or
- Three years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related bachelor's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- Five years of accounting and/or budgetary experience and a business-related associate's degree that includes six college credits in accounting; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training which includes or is supplemented by six college credits in accounting.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
