Job Overview: The Supervisor of Corporate Accounting and Consolidations plays a key role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and close processes. This entry-level management position is responsible for overseeing certain daily accounting operations, coordinating period-end close activities, and ensuring compliance with internal policies and GAAP standards for assigned areas. The supervisor also contributes to audit readiness, process improvements, and cross-functional collaboration with Controllership and corporate stakeholders. - Manage the timely and accurate completion of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for the corporate accounting and consolidations team, ensuring compliance with GAAP, SEC regulations, internal policies, and reporting deadlines.
- Provide technical accounting guidance aligned with established processes. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Review and refine financial statement variance explanations, incorporating relevant business context. Support consolidation activities and ensure consistency across entities and business units.
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of accounting staff, as applicable, allocating tasks to optimize team efficiency. Provide feedback and promote continuous development within the team.
- Monitor the effectiveness of internal controls and accounting procedures. Identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions to strengthen compliance and safeguard assets.
- Assist in preparing documentation and responses for internal and external audits. Ensure readiness and accuracy of audit materials.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from management and cross-functional corporate contacts. Maintain service levels and ensure timely resolution of inquiries and escalations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement within the general accounting and consolidation functions. Support company-wide transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned by management, including financial analysis and reporting enhancements.
Qualifications (Minimum Required):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, Non-GAAP metrics, and financial reporting standards.
- Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., Workday) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across teams.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and process optimization.
Experience (Minimum Required):
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting and financial reporting.
- Hands-on involvement in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Experience preparing and reviewing journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
- Exposure to financial consolidations across multiple entities or business units.
- Prior experience supporting internal or external audits.
- Demonstrated ability to supervise or mentor junior accounting staff is preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Your profile:
Advance degree in a relevant field such as biostatistics, computer sciences, etc. (Doctoral degree preferred) 5 or more years of solid experience of working as a Lead Biostatistician in either a biotech, CRO or pharmaceutical company Ability to program in one or more statistical software packages (SAS) used to conduct statistical analyses; SAS proficiency including use of a variety of statistical procedures e.g., non-parametric analysis, linear and non-linear models, categorical data and survival analysis Proven professional experience with SDTMs, ADaM datasets and TFLs Proven ability to effectively communicate statistical concepts A good knowledge of the overall observational study process Competence in the preparation of SAPs, analysis, and reporting Strong organizational skills, an autonomous and collaborative work style, a curious mind and a keen attention to detail

Pay Range: $90,000-$120,000 USD base annual salary Benefits: All job offers will be based on a candidate's skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.
