Job Overview:
The Director, Operations oversees Healthmark's Warehouse, Manufacturing, Supply chain, and Facilities/HSE to ensure that strategic planning, execution to KPI's, continuous improvement, efficiency, safety, and timely and accurate delivery of products to customers is achieved while maintaining regulatory compliance. In addition, this role will participate as an active member of the Healthmark Senior leadership team representing Healthmark Operations. As a member of this leadership team, this individual will assist in setting strategy and achieving department goals and objectives in all areas.

Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties:
* Ownership and implementation of process improvement related to warehouse, , manufacturing, safety, facilities departments to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
* Review reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as throughput, inventory days of stock, order fulfillment rates, and cycle times, and develop plans to respective department leadership to address any issues. Keep all stakeholders informed through transparent and regular communication.
* Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and internal policies and procedures.
* Identify opportunities to improve the warehouse layout, production, value added manufacturing, equipment, automation, robotics and technology to improve efficiency and safety.
* Oversight of the warehouse , manufacturing, and facilities budgets.
* Ensures departmental compliance with Getinge quality policy and consistently meets the quality requirements of our customers. Reduce the cost of quality by doing things right the first time
* Participate in formulating and administering departmental policy and developing long-range goals and objectives.
* Research, collaborate, and assess acquisition target opportunities.
* Optimize logistics solutions to ensure lowest-cost shipping and production opportunities and provide highest rates of on-time delivery for customers.
* Oversee the integration of new technologies and processes into set up, ensuring minimal disruption, maximum benefit, and full regulatory compliance.
* Direct planning, organization and implementation of incoming inspection, planning, and manufacturing in order to support strategic goals and objectives in a cost-effective manner consistent with safety and environmental considerations
* Provide direction and guidance to direct reports for the procurement, planning and preparation of master production schedules for Consumables Product with considerations given to manufacturing capabilities, machine availability, manpower requirements, and shipping objectives and outside resources.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Strong leadership skills developing and leading a team of both direct and indirect reports.
* Strong organizational skills necessary to handle a variety of tasks. Strong math/analytical/problem solving skills. Interpersonal management and leadership skills required for training, developing and leading all members of the operations organization.
* Ability to work effectively with other members of management. Strong verbal and written skills. Experience in developing and implementing yearly operational business plans in line with Divisional objectives. Ability to effectively deal with a variety of conflicting issues and diplomatically solve those issues.
* Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
* Significant experience leading warehouse and manufacturing operations, preferably in a medical environment
* Team player with a positive attitude.
* Able to write in technical English.
Minimum Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering, Technical, or Business discipline is preferred, however a combination of education and related experience is acceptable.
* Minimum of 10 years' experience in operations is required, preferably in a pharmaceutical or medical device facility. Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
* Previous knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
* Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 820, including cGMP, as well as ISO 13485/9000 is preferred
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office products or equivalent software application is preferred. SAP and Blue Yonder WMS experience is highly desirable.

Quality Requirements:

* Ensure compliance to all FDA and Worldwide Quality & Compliance regulations (As applicable to the job function).
* Must have the education and experience to understand and comply with U.S. and Worldwide medical device regulations (As applicable to your job function).
* Attend all required Quality & Compliance training at the specified interval.
* Adopt the "Beyond Compliance Quality Culture" in the work environment; always meet and exceed requirements.

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions:
* Ensures environmental consciousness and safe practices are exhibited in decisions
* Use of computer and telephone equipment and other related office accessories/devices to complete assignments
* Available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
* Able to lift 20 lbs.
* Stand for longer periods of time.
* May work extended hours during peak business cycles
* The position requires travel of approximately 10%.

* Oversee warehousing, production, facilities, and manufacturing departments. Focus on optimization, automation, and process improvement solutions as well as metrics and KPI accountability for these operations departments.

* Field Sales and Service teams
* Internal departments such as Finance, Sales Compensation, Sales Reporting, Marketing, Service and Human Resources
* Getinge international and functional area teams

The salary range for this position is between $169,600-$212,000 depending on experience and location.
