As a Security Professional - Hotel Patrol Driver in Sheridan, IL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a premier hotel and resort location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment for guests and staff. Your visible presence and routine patrols help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Pay Rate: $19.82 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to guests and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the hotel and resort property, including both interior and exterior areas, to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances, exits, and restricted areas as required by site policies.
• Support Allied Universal and client management by maintaining clear and accurate documentation of incidents and daily activities.
• Provide guidance and support to guests and staff as needed, contributing to a welcoming and secure environment at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
