Summary:

The Director of Operations for FacultyPhysicianswill manage and support clinical operational business initiatives in the FP. This position will work closely with Clinical Department contacts, FP finance, FP legal, FP HR and the other FP operational leaders.

Responsibilities:
These central business functions include (for example) and are not limited to:

*Serve as FP's operational point of contact for department clinical operational initiatives, working in close partnership with FP Finance and Revenue Cycle to support coordinated implementation and resolution of issues.

*Support department leaders with the development, implementation, and ongoing administration of clinical compensation plans and physician offer letters, in partnership with SOM HR and FP Finance.

*Partner with clinical department leaders, FP Finance, and SOM Business Intelligence to develop reports for KPIs and other metrics to track department clinical initiatives.

*Coordinate the review, approval routing, and implementation of external clinical contracts in partnership with UNC Health Legal and FP Finance; support development of tracking tools to monitor key operational terms and timelines.

*Liaise with Perioperative services for any broad communications, implementations with surgical departments.

*Oversee SASI (surgical scheduling) team with matrix support of hospital perioperative leadership.

*Write, edit, and catalog various policies for FP. Support their implementation.

*Co-lead with VP of Clinical Operations and Director of Provider Experience various clinical operational project rollouts to span FP.

The position will report directly to the COO and be closely aligned with clinical department ACAs. FP Ops peers include VP of Clinical Operations, AVP of APP Center, Director of Provider Experience. Direct reports include project manager(s).

Qualifications

Education Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline; Master's preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements:
* No licensure or certification required.
Professional Experience Requirements:
*Previous clinical operations experience is preferred.Previous experience within a clinical department is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements:
* Ability to work autonomously and with senior executive and C-suite leaders. Ability to lead complex programs or initiatives. Knowledge of improvement methodologies and project and change management techniques and tools. Excellent analytical and communication skills, including facilitation and presentation skills. Ability to excel and achieve results in a team-oriented, matrixed environment. Highly responsive to customers.
