Job Summary

Must have practical experience on project types as follows: Multiple tank projects with flat bottom tanks with external floating roof. Flat bottom tanks with fixed roof (self-supported and structure-supported) and internal floating roof, seal inspection and repairs.

Essential Functions



  • Represent the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics".
  • Actively support the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values".
  • To work well with supervision.
  • Properly perform work as directed.
  • Able to work from drawings and blueprints.
  • Properly identify mechanical/construction tools and their usage.
  • Effectively execute activities which ensure the successful completion of tasks and project in accordance with MSI safety, quality and erection policies and procedures.
  • Constant monitoring and verification that safe work practices, policies, and procedures are implemented and being followed.
  • Inspect and verify that the work, as completed, complies with all applicable codes/standards, specifications, and MSI QC policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with Customer Inspection and Project Management personnel to ensure satisfaction with our performance and consensus of project completion.



Qualifications



  • At least five years' experience in Above Ground Storage Tank construction.
  • Complete Company's Safety training, Process Safety Management training and Client / Site specific training.
  • Must obtain and maintain an active status within the appropriate drug testing program.
  • MUST have TWIC card.
  • MUST have a 20-hour high hazard facility training safety card
  • MUST have Verification of 8,000 craft related hours OR Graduated journeyperson status preferred.

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate's qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, the actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances, may fall outside the listed hiring range.

Full range for this position, available overtime: $41.38 to $61.25 per hour
