The Fine Dining Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes with precision, consistency, and artistry in a fast-paced, team-oriented fine dining kitchen. This position upholds fine dining restaurant standards for presentation, flavor, and timing while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment. In alignment with our brand's luxury standards and service expectations, the Line Cook demonstrates meticulous attention to detail, professionalism, and consistency, ensuring every dish contributes to an exceptional and memorable fine dining experience.

What will you be doing?

Culinary Execution:



  • Prepare menu items to exacting standards of quality, consistency, and presentation according to established recipes and plating guides, ensuring each dish reflects the elevated expectations of a fine dining experience.


Preparation & Accuracy:



  • Execute prep work with meticulous attention to detail and portion accuracy. Ensure mise en place is properly organized, labeled, and maintained for seamless service during high-volume periods.


Efficiency in a Fast-Paced Environment:



  • Work swiftly and effectively during peak service periods, maintaining composure, focus, and precision in a high-pressure, fast-paced kitchen environment.


Product Handling & Rotation:



  • Label and date all food items according to company standards, ensuring proper rotation, temperature control, and storage of perishable products to maintain freshness and food safety.


Inventory & Line Readiness:



  • Review prep lists and par levels prior to each shift, identify and communicate any shortages, and ensure all stations are fully stocked and properly set for service.


Waste & Cost Control:



  • Support efforts to minimize food waste and optimize cost efficiency through portion control, proper storage, and adherence to production plans.


Equipment Operation & Care:



  • Safely operate and maintain kitchen equipment including fryers, broilers, ovens, and grills. Ensure all tools and workstations are sanitized and well-maintained at all times.


Collaboration & Teamwork:



  • Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and fellow culinary team members to ensure coordinated service and consistent food quality.


Professionalism & Reliability:



  • Adhere to scheduled shifts and attendance standards, maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and readiness to support the team as needed.


Additional Duties:



  • Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned by culinary leadership to support the success of the operation.


What is required?



  • Strong foundation in culinary techniques and fine dining standards of execution and plating.
  • At least 1 year of culinary experience is required.
  • Ability to perform consistently under pressure in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and consistency in every dish.
  • Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Professional demeanor, positive attitude, and collaborative spirit.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and handle kitchen equipment safely.
  • Basic English communication skills; ability to read and follow recipes and directives accurately.
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts that include evening, weekends, and holidays.
  • Food Handlers certification is required.
  • The ideal candidate will be organized and able to work with a sense of urgency and seeking guest satisfaction.
