Position Summary/Department Summary:
Full-time social work position in the Fetal Care and Surgery Center providing a range of clinical services to pregnant women diagnosed with a fetal anomaly.
Schedule: 40 hours (4-10s or 5-8s)

Key Responsibilities:
  • Screening/assessment/treatment of perinatal mental health
  • Psychosocial consultation to multidisciplinary team
  • Coordination of care within BCH and with partner delivery hospitals
  • Opportunity to be involved in the development of the psychosocial arm of a new fetal surgery program.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Current Massachusetts license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker LICSW
Education:
  • Master's degree in social work
Experience:
  • Comfort with crisis management, goals of care discussions and bereavement
  • Flexibility and ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential.
  • Interest in program development and research is desirable.
  • Bilingual/bicultural/diverse candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Those with PMH-C are encouraged to apply
Licensure/Certifications:
  • LICSW in the state of MA required.
