Position Summary: This position will provide office assistance to the Fiscal Unit Manager of CWFS. We are seeking a Fiscal Assistant with a knowledge of office equipment such as scanner, photocopier, printer, computer and other workplace machines. Also, strong communication skills, reliability, and a commitment to confidentiality are a must to maintain a high level of discretion in a fast-paced office environment. They will assist in the filing of backlog paperwork, paperwork preparation for ACS claims and assist in the submission of DOE claims. This position will also require adaptability to learn software systems (i.e. Workplace, Orbit, CARA< EVOLV and Connections).

Essential Duties:



  • Understand and promote the organization's Mission, Vision, and Core Values to ensure alignment with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the processing of payments for various vendors through Fiscal/Accounts Payable and the tracking system.
  • Work collectively with vendor/staff and resolve account issues.
  • Support workers with essential state documents and ensure key data are incorporated into Connections.
  • Support other staff members with the preparation for ACS claims for reimbursements.
  • Manage, submit and track Special Payment Invoicing to ACS.
  • Monitor car leasing, furniture/clothing requests for clients and summer camps activities.
  • Assist with DOE claiming for school transportation.
  • Update tracking and billing spreadsheet.
  • Collaborate and Assist co-workers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


    Minimum Qualifications:



    • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate degree preferred.


    Key Competencies:



    • Good organization skill.
    • Be able to prioritize.
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word.
    • Strong interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills.
