Here's what you'd do:

• The Mission Networks Engineering team is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to support our data management tasks.
• The Senior Software Engineer will utilise expertise in Data Lineage, Cataloguing, and Reconciliation technologies to deliver solutions that enhance customer operations and provide information management services.
• As a member of the client team, you will collaborate with various cross-functional teams to define requirements, software architecture, APIs, serverless frameworks, and libraries, ensuring the mission-critical program's readiness.
• You will work as part of a development team to implement data management solutions while adhering to best practices.
• The team may engage in tasks such as rapid prototyping, researching COTS products for integration with client applications, and implementing and deploying solutions to meet requirements.
• Data storage approaches (database, object, blockchain).
• Data cataloguing (metadata management, discovery, lineage, governance).
• Data validation (apply field-level policies to form the latest data object as new data is received).
• Data reconciliation (apply field-level policies to form the latest data object as new data is received).

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 /hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week.

Length: Temp to Perm (12 months).

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Science or Technology or Engineering or Mathematics with 6 years of experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data management, including managing data lineage, cataloguing, and reconciliation processes.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in various data storage approaches, including relational databases (SQL), object storage (AWS S3), and blockchain technology.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in implementing and managing different types of data storage solutions.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in applying field-level validation policies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Master's Degree with 4 years of experience.
• Key understanding of Data Lineage/Cataloguing/Reconciliation to be the Data Management SME.
• FAA NAS data knowledge.
• Deep understanding of data management principles and practices, with the ability to serve as a subject matter expert (SME).
• Expertise in managing metadata, including creation, maintenance, and usage.
• Ability to track and document the flow of data from source to destination.
• Knowledge of data governance practices and frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance.
• Ability to implement and enforce data validation rules as new data is ingested.
• Expertise in data reconciliation processes to ensure consistency and accuracy of data.
