As the SC Business Process Lead at Crescent Electric, you will create optimal supply chain processes to improve service, operational and inventory efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance, which includes both inter-departmental and cross functional processes. You will analyze existing (or non-existent) processes, identifying areas for improvement, and working collaboratively with the SC Leadership Team to implement best practice and standardize how work gets done in the department. In this role, you will document standardized policy and training on it within and across other departments to streamline supply chain efficiency in inventory planning, purchasing, asset recovery and replenishment.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Identify departmental key policies and procedures; assess effectiveness, identify bottlenecks and work collaboratively to document a standardized, best practice tool (both internal & cross functional)

  • Evaluate current supply chain processes, identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies, and develop solutions to optimize workflows.

  • Identify areas for improvement, implementing methodologies like Lean Six Sigma to enhance profitability

  • Prepare and present visual reports and tools to communicate change and train on standardization

  • Design and implement new or improved SC processes, to align with business goals

  • Utilize key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify process opportunities for improvement

  • Work closely with various stakeholders, including supply chain, Field and DC Operations, CX and sales teams, to identify business process needs & ensure smooth process implementation and adoption.

  • Lead and manage the implementation of process changes, ensuring effective communication, training, and support for all stakeholders.

  • Develop & manage governance to monitor documented policy & procedure adherence within the department

  • May participate in projects related to supply chain optimization, process improvement, or new system implementations.

  • Stay informed about relevant technologies and automation solutions that can enhance supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.

  • Identify potential risks within the supply chain and work with the risk management team to develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.

SKILLS:

  • Skilled in business process mapping and CI tools, such as Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, etc.

  • Deep experience with supply chain systems and technologies

  • Deep understanding of SC management principles and best practices

  • Critical understanding of the end-to-end supply chain process and inter-related impacts

  • Change management experience in leading new process development and implementation

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage conflict productively.

  • Excellent communication and people skills to collaborate with stakeholders, lead change and facilitate required training

  • Ability to work in a demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence across multiple cross-functional areas within supply chain, sales, and business operations.

  • Demonstrated networking skills and drive to continuously expand network.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify process issues and drive improvement.

  • History of ability to work independently on multiple projects.

  • Ability to travel throughout the CESCO territories up to 25% of the time.

  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, to include Word, Excel, and Outlook.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally (up to 25%) with overnight stays.

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years of experience working in multiple end-to-end supply chain roles.

  • Six Sigma black belt a plus

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Occasionally standing and walking. Most of the time sitting, use of hands/fingers, and talking/hearing. Often reaching with hands/arms.

  • Close vision needed (clear vision at 20 inches or less) to be able to view computer screen.

  • May be required to work more than 40 hours per week.

  • Occasional travel up to 25% with overnight stays.
