Electro-Mechanical Technician

STS Technical Services is hiring Electro-Mechanical Technicians in Indianapolis, Indiana to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot automated, robotic, and electromechanical equipment. This role combines electrical and mechanical expertise to support high-efficiency manufacturing operations and ensure minimal downtime.

?*?Read and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, and specifications
?*?Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment
?*?Perform preventative maintenance and basic calibration on facility equipment
?*?Troubleshoot electronic instrumentation including thermocouples, tachometers, temperature controllers, and pressure transducers
?*?Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to support production demands
?*?Operate shop and material handling equipment safely, including forklifts
?*?Follow safety protocols and participate in inspections and risk assessments
?*?Communicate effectively with team members and other departments

?*?2+ years of industrial experience in an electrical/mechanical environment (trade program completion or Associate's Degree preferred)
?*?Basic understanding of PLCs, HMI systems, and motor drives
?*?Proficient in using multimeters and Microsoft Office Suite
?*?Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills

?*?Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and use hands/arms regularly
?*?Exposure to mechanical parts, temperature extremes, moderate noise, and occasional outdoor conditions
?*?Rotating shift schedule; flexibility required
