JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Penn State Beaver is currently accepting applications for an instructor to teach the Criminal Justice Internshipcourse during the Spring 2026 semester.
All criminal justice majors are required to complete a community-based internship. The instructor will oversee the academic component of the internship experience while students complete their fieldwork.
Responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring student progress and ensuring completion of required hours and tasks
  • Conducting regular check-ins with internship site supervisors
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for site supervisors
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an appropriate discipline from an accredited institution (required)
  • Prior teaching experience, professional contacts in the local criminal justice field, and/or experience supervising student internships (preferred)
