The Infor Public Sector (IPS) Project Manager will coordinate and monitor billable projects from initiation through delivery. Works as a consulting team member on for-fee product creation, enhancement, or integration projects. Serves as liaison between the company and client in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Ensures billable projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Experience in the areas of software implementation or lead/Senior Business Consulting for software implementations. Duties often performed at the customer's site. Serves as pre-sales specialist when needed. A Day in The Life Typically Includes: Ensures projects are completed according to agreed upon plan Maintains project financial and project profitability, to include resource scheduling, revenue forecasting per project, billing reconciliations, expense report and time approval for project work, etc Remains aware of any potential problems and works to mitigate any risks Monitors project deliverables and progress through continuous communication with project members Assigns / delegates work assignments to project team members Prepares project status reports on project progress and problems Disseminates information on any issues or potential delays Basic Qualifications: ERP Software Implementation/Consulting experience Agile and/or Waterfall project experience Experience managing software implementation projects for private or public sector customers Experience using PM tools MS Project, ADO Public sector (state or local government) experience, in areas such as utilities, asset management, billing, permitting, or licensing Experience Fixed Fee or Time and Materials contracted projects Travel as needed, up to 50% Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship Preferred Qualifications: Infor IPS experience Cognos reporting experience Undergraduate degree, or equivalent work experience PMP certification Public sector (state or local government) experience Remote (Dallas, TX and Alpharetta, GA) About Infor Infor is where ambition meets impact.
