Job Title: Project Coordinator

Location(s): Baltimore, MD

Position Summary:

The Project Coordinator provides essential administrative and operational support to the Project Manager (PM) community. This role functions as a back-office project manager, assisting with financial validation, documentation, and coordination tasks to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist with booking change orders and initiating subcontract procurement.
  • Support billing processes and progress billings.
  • Schedule handover meetings and coordinate new vendor onboarding.
  • Validate project data and support project closure activities.
  • Read and interpret customer contracts and financial documents.
  • Collaborate with PMs to execute project needs and priorities


Required Experience:


  • 2-3 years of administrative support experience in the construction industry.
  • Familiarity with project finance, including basic financial concepts.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).


Skills & Attributes:


  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft Teams.
  • Not reliant on micromanagement; able to keep pace with project demands.


Education:


  • High School Diploma or GED required (experience prioritized).
