Description A Brief Overview

Responsible for developing, executing and maintaining automated and manual test scripts. Should be familiar with standard software development, testing methodology, and package implementation strategies. Will work with application / project teams to utilize the defined testing methodology, work products, templates, and procedures.

What You Will Do

  • Analyze, coordinate and track QA testing efforts throughout project life cycle; including an executive dashboard to communicate testing status and results
  • Develop automated and manual test scripts based upon the identified test scenarios.
  • Update and maintain automated test scripts in designated automated testing tool.
  • Manages the development of test conditions and scenarios required to validate system functionality
  • Manages the development of expected results of testing events
  • Manages the automated execution of the tests and coordinates verification of actual results
  • Ensures that appropriate documentation is completed and compiled
  • Reviews technical designs, mock-ups, scripts, and other work products for new functionality/features
  • Participate in department process improvement initiatives
  • Applies and upholds software QA methodologies and standards
  • Review, track and validate software requirement documentation for testing traceability and coverage
  • Act in the capacity of department SME for testing efforts to support and expedite testing
  • Performs system admin duties associated with maintaining the automated testing tool.

  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
