Production Support Associate - Machining

We are looking for a Production Support Associate to join Temperature+System Products, USA in Greenwood, Indiana to work with a dynamic team and deliver world-class temperature products. Endress+Hauser Temperature+System Products is one of the leading global suppliers of temperature measurement, temperature engineered solutions and system products.

What is the role about?

This role will support the CNC Machine operators in our Machine Shop. You will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. You will use various hand and power tools to perform the work. Ensures quality of products throughout the process. Works under immediate supervision. Primary functions do not typically require exercising free judgment.

Which tasks will you perform?

  • Operate various equipment to complete production requirements in the machine shop production cell.

  • Operate fork lift for moving material and other products

  • Prepare orders for production by picking components according to bill of material, cutting raw materials to length as specified.

  • Buff/Polish assemblies to 3A certification

  • All other duties as assigned

What do we expect from you?

  • Ability to multi-task and be self motivated

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate machines

  • Able to follow written and verbal directions

  • Detail-oriented

  • Able to read, interpret and analyze business and technical documents

  • Able to create and maintain positive working relations with colleagues

  • High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) along with 1-2 years experience within a manufacturing environment or equivalent combination of education and experience
