Description oAssist the VP of Networking in to ensure optimal performance and security on our network infrastructure oLead the design, configuration, support, and maintenance of the enterprise network, including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. oDevelop and enforce network security policies, ensuring compliance with financial services regulations. oCollaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and application teams to ensure seamless migration and integration of services. oMonitor and optimize network performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and implement solutions proactively. oManage, mentor, and oversee a small networking team, fostering a culture of accountability and growth. oEvaluate new technologies, tools, and best practices to enhance network resiliency, automation, and security. oProvide escalation support for critical network issues and ensure 24/7 operational readiness. Additional Skills & Qualifications oMinimum of 10 years of relevant or equivalent experience with evidence of increasing responsibility o10+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise networking. oDeep expertise with Cisco networking technologies: switches, routers, and firewalls. oFamiliarity with network security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOX, NYDFS Cybersecurity). oStrong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and performance optimization skills. oExcellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and present to leadership. oDemonstrated leadership or managerial experience, including mentoring team members and overseeing project delivery. *Good to have: oStrong understanding of AWS networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, Security Groups, NACLs, etc.); Azure networking experience is a plus. oProven experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code best practices (modular design, version control, automation pipelines). oExperience with hybrid cloud connectivity (AWS Direct Connect, Azure ExpressRoute, SD-WAN). oFamiliarity with container networking (Kubernetes, EKS/AKS). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
