What to Expect

Consider beforesubmittingan application:

This position is expected to start around January 2026 and continue through the Spring term (ending approximately May 2026) orcontinuinginto Summer 2026 if available and there is an opportunity to do so. We ask for a minimum of 12 weeks, full-time and on-site, for most internships. Our internship program is for students who are actively enrolled in an academic program. Recent graduates seeking employment after graduation and not returning to school should apply for full-time positions, not internships.

International Students: If your work authorization is through CPT, please consult your school on your ability to work 40 hours per week before applying. You must be able to work 40 hours per week on-site. Many students will be limited to part-time during the academic year.

About the Role: Join Tesla's Responsible Sourcing team and help drive positive social impact across our global battery supply chain. As an intern, you will contribute to programs that protect workers, engage stakeholders, and increase transparency from raw materials to finished products.


What You'll Do
  • Conduct Due Diligence: Assess suppliers for human rights and social risks across the battery supply chain
  • Drive Corrective Actions: Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of remediation plans for identified issues
  • Monitor Performance: Build and maintain tools to track supplier progress on key human rights, social, and compliance metrics
  • Collaborate with Suppliers: Work directly with supply chain partners to ensure execution of improvement commitments
  • Contribute to Global Initiatives: Support projects advancing human rights and responsible sourcing.

What You'll Bring
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Supply Chain, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, or a related field
  • Genuine interest in sustainability and human rights
  • Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous internship, research, or project experience in corporate social responsibility, supply chain management, or sustainability [Preferred]
  • Experience with data analysis, database management, or advanced Excel[Preferred]

    Expected Compensation
    $22.39 - $42.61/hour + benefits

    Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
