Job Summary

The Operator I is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring machines to produce high-quality parts in accordance with established specifications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The Operator I will work closely with production team members to ensure efficiency and consistency throughout the manufacturing process.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate machines and assemble components to produce parts meeting specified tolerances and quality standards
  • Review blueprints, sketches, drawings, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
  • Start, observe, and adjust machine operations to ensure proper performance
  • Conduct first piece inspections and complete machine guarding checklists
  • Perform changeovers and material feedthrough as required
  • Use measuring tools such as gauges and calipers to inspect and verify conformance of finished workpieces
  • Troubleshoot and correct operational issues as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Job Requirements

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Willingness to work overtime during weekdays or weekends as required


Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience


Work Schedule and Compensation

  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., with overtime as required
  • Pay Rate: $16.80 per hour
  • Bill Rate: $23.27 per hour
