How You'll Make an Impact
Lead engineering development for auxiliary power systems across multiple projects.
Design and review single-line diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment sizing.
Prepare and approve cable raceway designs and system selectivity calculations.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
Provide technical support during testing, installation, and commissioning phases.
Review vendor documentation and manage third-party engineering resources.
Conduct experiments and analyze data to improve system performance.
Create work plans, cost estimates, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of related experience.
At least 3 years of experience in auxiliary power system design, installation, and commissioning.
Demonstrated professional engineering competence.
Preferred: Professional Engineer license or ability to obtain.
Willingness to travel 20% or more as needed.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
