ABOUT THE POSITION

The Columbia Sales team collaborates withexternal partners(from wholesale key accounts to independent boutiques)and internal teams including Merchandising, Marketing,and Design to understandthe needs of consumers and the realities of the marketplace, and how our product best fitsthis equation. The Sales team's business savvy andsales strategyexpertise contribute to strongworking relationshipsandsolid results.

The Regional Sales Rep helps create and execute sales plans to support regional accounts, utilizing an enterprise mindset to optimize profitability for the company and retail partners.

Candidate must reside in California; preference will be given to those based in Southern California due to regional growth opportunities

HOWYOU'LLMAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Implement strategies to maintain and own account relationships within your assigned territory of California and Hawaii. You will seek to identify and execute sales opportunities with an enterprise mindset
  • Develop, communicate, and execute sales plans and forecasts externally and internally
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to support a best-in-class business
  • Gather marketplace intelligence and consumer insights to execute brand strategy
  • Deliver compelling seasonal product presentations utilizing elevated and persuasive storytelling and directive selling techniques

YOU ARE

  • Known for your interpersonal skills, including relationship building, as well as strong persuasive speaking and proven negotiation abilities
  • Excellent in written and verbal communication and can clearly communicate your ideas regardless of the audience
  • Adept at working within integrated cross-functional teams with the ability to establish effective working relationships internally and externally

YOUHAVE

  • Bachelor's degree, applicable certification or equivalent experience
  • 5-8 years of experience in sales of Apparel, Footwear, Equipment, and/or equivalent industry merchant experience
  • 5-8 years of professional experience and strong competency with the various tools, systems, or procedures required to accomplish the job, inclusive of Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Power BI, and B2B Order Entry Software
  • Proven success meeting deadlines and sales/revenue goals in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with elements of ambiguity
  • Advanced knowledge of retail analytics
  • Time management skills to handle sample lines, territory travel, tear down and set ups, while maintaining order book and shipments

Salary Range: $83,500 - $139,600 *Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate's capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
