For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus for qualified applicants. This bonus will be prorated for part-time positions. Patient Service Specialist - Outpatient Rehabilitation
Department: MaineHealth Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Practice
Schedule: Monday-Friday, consistent schedule. Shift start between 8:30-9:30 AM and end between 5-6 PM
Location: Fully onsite in South Portland, ME

Join our high-volume outpatient rehab team in South Portland, supporting over 20,000 patient visits annually. We are a collaborative and supportive group committed to delivering excellent patient care. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth front desk operations and a positive patient experience.

As a Patient Service Specialist (PSS), you will support patient scheduling, manage referrals, and assist with the general administrative and service needs of the practice.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

  • Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.

  • License/Certifications: N/A

  • Experience: Six months of medical office experience required.

  • Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A

  • Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Proficient computer skills.
