| Position Title:Instructor of Music (Applied) Compensation:$500-$9000 Department:School of Music - Temp Start Date:01/05/2026 About this opportunity:The School of Music at Ball State University invites applications for ongoing part-time semester faculty appointments to teach applied music coursework in an on-campus environment. Candidates for searches must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship. What you'll do and what you'll bring: Job Description: Primary assignment will initially include teaching applied lessons, coaching chamber music, or conducting ensembles. Other duties as assigned by the Director of the School of Music. Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree from an accredited college or university and a documented history of professional activity in the area of assignment.
