The successful applicant will be performing work on US Government classified environments, and therefore, must be a U.S. Person (i.e., U.S. citizen, U.S. national, lawful permanent resident, asylee, or refugee). This position will perform work that the U.S. government has specified can only be performed by a U.S. citizen on U.S. soil. The successful applicant must have a current US Government TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI-eligibility security clearance.

Candidate must be willing to relocate to Stuttgart, Germany for a long-term, international assignment. Work will be performed onsite, 4 days/week at Kelley Barracks, Stuttgart, Germany.

Our Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leaders are an integral part of the Customer Experience (CX) team delivering business critical services to our customers! We combine the power of Cisco Analytics and knowledge with the outstanding technical expertise and consulting (that is you) to drive value, innovation, and adoption in our customer's network. We help them to reduce risk, drive innovation, and improve their network to meet business objectives. We are the customer's trusted advisor and expert, helping understand their network, reduce risks, and take advantage of our Cisco technologies. We work closely with Cisco Engineering to advocate for innovation, act as a liaison, and share what is coming with our customers to help them be the groundbreakers of technology.

Your Impact

As a Customer Delivery Engineering Technical Leader, you will help drive efforts to transform our current and future network architecture for our customers. You will build customer deliverable documentation including High Level Design (HLD), Low Level Design (LLD), and Implementation/Change Management Plans for the entire network portfolio. Bring your creative solutions and be a valuable asset to our team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current TS/SCI or Top Secret with SCI-eligibility security clearance
  • 5 years' relevant experience in Cisco networking to include: Route/Switch, large-scale network design, deploying and maintaining networks
  • Cisco Certified Networking Professional (CCNP) or equivalent skills (Route/Switch)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in delivering Cisco standard methodologies and leading cross-functional teams to resolve sophisticated network problems
  • Strong crisis management and critical thinking skills, with the ability to anticipate and resolve issues proactively
  • Superb communication, consulting, and customer relationship skills, capable of building productive teamwork and engaging with senior leadership
  • Proficient with Enterprise Route/Switch in an Army/DoD network environment; familiarity with Wireless, Security, Collaboration, or Data Center technologies
  • Ability to multitask, work independently in a demanding environment, and articulate a vision that inspires change
