The Copilot Pages and Notebooks team is seeking a Software Engineer to help build the fundamentals team responsible for managing REST APIs, engineering systems, and web application performance.This role offers the opportunity to learn what it takes to build services that scale to millions of calls per day. ResponsibilitiesCollaborates with stakeholders to determine user requirements for features.Supports identification of dependencies and contributes to the development of design documents for product features with oversight.Implements code for products, services, or features, reusing code as applicable and following guidance.Breaks down work items into tasks and provides estimation, with support and learning opportunities.Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) by monitoring system, product features, or services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions for simple problems, and recommends actions to restore functionality by following established playbooks.Reviews current developments and proactively seeks new knowledge to improve availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products, while driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale. | |
