POSITION SUMMARY:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Infrastructure Analyst to join our IT infrastructure team. This role is ideal for candidates with foundational experience in Data Centers, MDF and IDF closets. This is an ideal role for someone looking to grow their skills in a dynamic and supportive environment. The engineer will assist in managing multiple Data Centers, IDF and MDF locations. They will manage multiple toolsets and work closely with other staff members and vendors to provide critical infrastructure support.

Healthcare industry experience is a strong plus, as you'll be working in an environment where uptime, data integrity, and compliance are critical.

EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent field of study, or relevant equivalent work-related education/experience.

EXPERIENCE:

Manage and maintain Data Center infrastructure, including cabinet layout, rack elevations, and asset tracking. Monitor and manage Power Distribution Units (PDUs), Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS), and basic electrical systems.
Utilize monitoring tools such as SolarWinds Orion, PRTG, and Struxureware to ensure uptime and performance. Perform routine inspections and maintenance of data center equipment and environmental conditions. Assist with network infrastructure tasks, including patching, port mapping, and basic switch configuration. Collaborate with network and systems teams to support infrastructure projects and incident response. Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure assets, cabling, and power usage. Support change management and incident resolution processes.

Required Qualifications:




  • 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or data center operations.



  • Strong knowledge of Data Center cabinet and rack management.



  • Hands-on experience with PDUs, UPS systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.



  • Proficiency with infrastructure monitoring tools: SolarWinds Orion, PRTG, Struxureware.



  • Basic networking knowledge, including familiarity with Cisco switches and structured cabling.



  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.



  • Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs as needed.

Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, perform in-depth work analyses, and develop computer-generated flow charts. Ability to develop project budges and projections. Working knowledge of hospital operations preferred.
