Pay: $60000 - $72000 / year (paid hourly)

Schedule: M - F; day shift

Location: Downtown Bellevue, WA | TikTok office

About the Role

The Workplace Experience Ambassador plays a crucial role in creating a positive and engaging workplace environment for employees and visitors. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, fostering community and collaboration, and supporting various workplace initiatives. The Workplace Ambassador serves as a friendly and knowledgeable point of contact, ensuring that the workplace operates smoothly and meets the needs of occupants and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

What this job involves (but not limited to):

  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to employees and guests, resolving inquiries and issues promptly while delivering onboarding, office tours, and fostering a welcoming, community-driven workplace.

  • Front Desk Operations: Assist with managing the reception area, including visitor registration, access control, phone calls, and creating a professional first impression.

  • Workplace Support: Oversee daily workplace walkthroughs to ensure spaces are clean, stocked, and functional. Manage supplies and consumables within budget, and coordinate with vendors to maintain service standards.

  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and supporting workplace events and activities, including setup, catering coordination, swag management, and feedback collection. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging programs that build culture and community.

  • Workplace Communication: Share important workplace announcements and updates across multiple channels. Maintain accurate guides, FAQs, and onboarding resources.

  • Workplace Health and Safety: Promote and uphold workplace health and safety protocols and procedures, including proper use of equipment, adherence to emergency procedures, and reporting of incidents or hazards.

  • Workplace Policies and Procedures: Educate employees on workplace policies, procedures, and guidelines. Ensure compliance with workplace rules, regulations, and standards.

  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, service enhancement, and cost savings within the workplace. Provide feedback and suggestions for optimizing the workplace experience.

What We're Looking For
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a service-first mindset.

  • Ability to anticipate needs, resolve issues proactively, and build strong relationships.

  • Comfort in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment.

  • Tech-savvy with experience in workplace tools (ticketing systems, room reservations, virtual platforms).

  • Prior hospitality, facilities, events, or workplace experience preferred.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or coursework in customer service, business, or a related field is a plus.

  • Proven experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a corporate or commercial real estate environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, communicate effectively with diverse individuals, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • Tech savvy, with the ability to navigate workplace technology tools, equipment, and software.

Preferred:
  • Professional and approachable demeanor, with the ability to represent the workplace effectively and positively.

  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing work demands and work schedules, including occasional weekends or evenings for special events or support needs.

  • Knowledge of health, safety, and security protocols applicable to the workplace.

  • Basic knowledge of office equipment, operations, and administrative tasks.

  • Strong problem solving skills and the ability to address and resolve workplace related issues.

  • Passion for fostering a positive work environment and promoting employee engagement and morale.

Estimated compensation for this position:

60,000.00 - 72,000.00 USD per year

This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
