Job Description:

Join our Tax Processing Team as a Sr. Associate - Tax Processor. In this role, you'll be part of a high-performing team that ensures accurate, timely, and efficient delivery of tax processing and administrative services. Job Summary:

As a Sr. Associate Tax Processor, you will provide hands-on tax processing and project support to business unit leadership and client services teams. You will perform a variety of responsibilities, from e-filing and DocuSign management to paper assembly, Autoflow, Outsourcing, merging, scanning, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform scanning and ensure proper retention of client documents in line with firm policies and standards

  • In-Office printing and assembly of Tax Returns and perform quality checks when needed

  • E-file business, individual, trust, and other tax returns

  • Manage digital signatures via DocuSign; monitor client sign-offs.

  • Prepare and edit PDFs, including combining, bookmarking, securing, and formatting deliverables

  • Autoflow/Outsource Individual & Trust documents into firm apps.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, acting as liaison between teams and management

  • Contribute to process improvements for efficiency and time savings

  • Coaching experience: providing guidance, feedback, and career support to other colleagues

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of administrative or project coordination experience, ideally in professional services or U.S. taxation

  • High school diploma required; coursework or degree in Business or Office Administration preferred

  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

  • Demonstrated reliability and ownership; comfortable being the on-site go-to without formal people-management authority

  • Proven experience coaching peers (giving feedback, teaching tools/process, raising quality)

  • Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems including CCH, GoSystem, DocuSign, SharePoint, and Adobe Pro

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; client-service mindset

  • Proactive, organized, and able to multitask in a deadline-driven environment

  • Ability to handle confidential data with discretion and adapt to peak-season pressures

  • Flexibility to work in-office at least 4 days a week and occasional overtime (10-15% annually) during peak times

  • Willingness to travel occasionally for training or meetings

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Change-management mindset: ability to guide teams through new workflows and system rollouts

  • Mentorship experience: providing guidance, feedback, and career support to other team members or junior colleagues

  • Support project planning: meeting agendas, minutes, and action tracking

  • Monitor workflow and risks using Smartsheets; flag issues and suggest mitigation

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $20.75 - $46.75 per hour.
