General Function:

Seeking a proactive Junior Project Manager to support logistics and transportation projects across the supply chain. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and ensuring the execution of transportation initiatives.

The position focuses on analyzing, planning, implementing, and monitoring budgeted projects, partnering with teams across Retail, Wholesale, and Ecom to drive cost and service improvements. It sits at the strategic and analytical core of the North America Transportation function, applying project management principles and data insights to optimize performance.


Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support transportation/network strategy projects with Procurement, Distribution, Finance, and BI.
  • Help manage transportation initiatives and meet key deadlines.
  • Assist in logistics planning, including route optimization, carrier onboarding, and warehouse coordination.
  • Support new systems/processes to improve service and reduce cost.
  • Monitor milestones and KPIs; report to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (carriers, 3PLs).
  • Develop KPIs to track project results and cost efficiency.
  • Maintain project documentation and conduct post-project reviews.
  • Identify risks, propose solutions, and escalate when needed.
  • Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Handover completed projects to operations teams.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in project coordination or logistics.
  • Familiarity with TMS, WMS, ERP systems, and freight modes (LTL, FTL, intermodal).
  • Understanding of carrier metrics and logistics KPIs.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, Trello).
  • Preferred: PMP certification; experience with SQL, VBA, PowerBI, Tableau, Alteryx, or Qlik; Lean/Six Sigma experience.
  • Ability to analyze transportation data and identify improvement opportunities based on trends and forecasts.

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
