Responsible for managing the patient financial services functions in the Health System CBO including Billing/Collections; Cash Posting; Contract Management; Customer Service; Judicial Affairs. Oversees one or more of the following functions: inpatient/outpatient billing; cash posting and customer service. Prepares statistical reports. Assists in providing information for internal and/or external auditors. Analyzes accounts for Third Party Payers to insure accurate reimbursement. Interviews hires trains supervises & evaluates assigned CBO staff.
Analyzes, plans, evaluates, and implements processes designed to maintain KPI's at or exceeding determined benchmarks for assigned team(s).
Provides day-to-day supervision of assigned CBO staff. Serves, manages, and supports internal and external customers to the CBO. Suggests and participates in performance improvement activities. Investigates documents and resolves problems and complaints. Is accountable for own work responsibilities. Maintains a positive and professional work environment. Communicates appropriately using good interpersonal skills Assumes responsibilities for professional development of self and contributes to and assists with the professional development of others. Other duties may be assigned as needed. This position will not consider candidates who require immigration sponsorship at this time or in the future. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Bachelor's degree is preferred. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires sitting for prolonged periods; Repetitive motion: computer keyboard activity. Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull less than 20lbs.
