ASML is a global leader in the high-tech semiconductor equipment manufacturing industry. The Corporate Real Estate Physical Security Senior Specialist plays a critical role in the safety and security of ASML's assets and facilities in Wilton, CT. This role supports daily operations, safeguards assets, and enhances the company's security posture while maintaining business continuity and compliance with relevant regulations.

Role and responsibilities
  • Oversee the design, installation, and management of physical security systems, including access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.

  • Coordinate security projects, manage vendor relationships, and ensure effective operation of security processes.

  • Collaborates with Project Management Teams to build and direct physical security construction measures for new projects and installations.

  • Establish and implement effective, predictable and measurable physical security processes and procedures.

  • Manage the lifecycle of policies, technical standards, and baselines.

  • Create physical security plans, including testing and commissioning.

  • Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, and presentations.

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable solutions for security system installations, repairs, and upgrades.

  • Research and test new security technologies and provide recommendations.

  • Oversee daily physical security operations, including managing security officers and incident response procedures.

  • Implement and enforce physical security policies and standards.

  • Identify and assess physical security risks and manage security incidents.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist in the training and development of security personnel.

  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in physical security processes, tools, and systems by remaining at the forefront of emerging industry best practices.

Education and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Technology, or similar).

  • Minimum of 5 years in physical security operations, technology, security project management or as a security systems engineer.

  • Experience / in-depth knowledge of security system integration: including: Genetec- video surveillance system and ProWatch-access control, and OCMS

Skills
  • Physical Security Systems Expertise: Advanced knowledge of integrated security systems and emerging technologies.
  • Project & Vendor Management: Proven ability to manage security projects, budgets, and vendor relationships.
  • Risk Assessment & Compliance: Strong understanding of physical security risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Technical & Analytical Skills: Proficiency in system design, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead teams, train personnel, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.

Additional Responsibilities:

There is potential for exposure to strong magnetic fields, high voltage and currents.
