Position Summary Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to support to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center/PEO Digital Directorate (AFLCMC/ESDI). The Air Force Program Execution Office for PEO Digital (AFPEO/HB) has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility to manage and execute the modernization, development, testing, production, fielding, and sustainment of the PEO Digital portfolio, which includes over 130 programs for the United States Air Force (USAF) and foreign allies. AFLCMC/PEO Digital Directorate is headquartered at Hanscom Air Force Base, MA with geographically separated operating units CONUS and OCONUS. Responsibilities In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter. In this position you will provide Electrical Engineering support for programs and projects. Support involves all the system engineering research, design, development, installation, testing, and operation aspects of the systems under the responsibility of the IPT. You effectively apply practical engineering knowledge of a wide range of established system engineering principles, concepts and methods, with an emphasis on electrical engineering while ensuring OSS&E is considered in all activities. Duties include, but not limited to:
Provide system engineering review and analysis of assigned systems throughout all acquisition phases, including conceptual, demonstration, validation, engineering, manufacturing development, production, deployment, and sustainment. Qualifications Minimum Required Qualifications: Citizenship: Must be a US citizen Clearance: Must hold an active Secret clearance Education: Bachelors Degree in a professional engineering discipline and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD, OR
Preferred Qualifications: Education: Master's Degree in a professional engineering discipline and at least 3 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 3 of which must be in the DoD
