Location: William Booth Center (811 Maynard Ave S, Seattle, WA 98134)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay: $31.64/hour

Status: Regular Full-Time/Non-Exempt

The Case Manager will provide comprehensive case management services for clients of the William Booth Center's shelter and residential programs, including but not limited to all or part of a housing readiness assessment and an individual service plan. They will use strength-based, client-centered methodologies in order to ensure that the client is respected, motivated, and supported to reach goals identified by both the Case Manager and the client, which can include exits into permanent housing, increased household income, and connections to community resources.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive case management services, including screening and assessing clients; creating and monitoring the progress of individual service plans; crisis intervention; and connecting clients to physical health, mental health, employment, housing, and other community resources.
  • Coordinate with other agencies to provide services, such as those related to mental health, employment, substance abuse programs, vocational rehabilitation, and developmental disabilities.
  • Continually monitor and evaluate each client's progress with their individual service plan and develop corrective action revisions as needed.
  • Successfully exit clients from their programs using progressive engagement strategies.
  • Foster a professional and welcoming environment with all clients, guests, vendors, and colleagues, regardless of differing identities, backgrounds, beliefs, and choices.
  • Provide supportive care to residents experiencing personal crises.


Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Human Services preferred. 3+ years' experience in case management, housing navigation, or similar experience will also be considered
  • Experience working with persons experiencing homelessness in shelter / residential programs preferred

Life and Voluntary Options: An employer-paid life insurance policy covers employees. Voluntary supplemental life, short-term and long-term disability plans are available.

Retirement Plans: Employer-funded Money Purchase Pension Plan (Defined Contribution Plan) 50% vested at five years' eligible service time. Plus, an employee-funded voluntary 403(b) option.

Parental Leave: The benefit is 40 hours of Paid Leave for qualifying events.

Sick Leave: 12 days of Sick Leave annually accruing from day one, eligible for use after three months' service time.

Paid Vacation:



  • Two weeks annually, accruing from day one, for non-exempt positions.
  • Four weeks annually, from day one, for exempt positions.
  • Accrued vacation is eligible for use after six months' service time.


Paid Holidays: 13 designated holidays + 1 floating holiday per year
