Job Summary

The Chief Engineer will be responsible for leading, controlling, supervising, administering, and coordinating all hard facilities operations and maintenance of the facility and reporting to the Operations Manager. Also, the incumbent will provide administrative duties and support to other soft services such as custodial, client-facing staff and grounds maintenance. Duties include troubleshooting Facility, Production & Formulation equipment issues and to operate according to scheduled maintenance programs or repair activities, and ensuring Scientific equipment is working properly. You will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of the Facility, Demi-Grand, Pilot, and Lab equipment supporting building management.

JOB DESCRIPTION

* Proficient in troubleshooting electrical equipment and PLC's.
* Proficient in facility maintenance and equipment.
* Oversee mechanical services including both Facilities and scientific areas FMO support.
* Repair and maintain Facility, Production and Formulation equipment through means of preventive maintenance program.
* Arrange Fabrication of machine parts as needed to keep equipment operational.
* Maintain all equipment to meet with the facility and OSHA safety requirements.
* Install and maintain equipment which directly supports Facility operations (DI Water, Compressed air, Chilled water).
* Ability to assist with set-ups and disassemble filling equipment as required by production scheduling

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

* Assist with the Coordination of services with outside vendors.
* Assist with the coordination new equipment installations with manufacturers.
* Maintain calibrations of equipment instruments through means of preventive maintenance program (ARCHIBUS) CMMS system.
* Set up and maintain inventory of spare parts to keep downtime to minimum.
* Maintain recommended spare parts inventory of all Demi-Grand equipment (Processing, Labs, Filling, Pre-weigh)
* Conducting parts and equipment sourcing
* Assist Admin. with overseeing and placing and closing orders.
* Participate in safety programs of the Demi-Grand (JSA, SHAP, MESUR, and EHS Inspections)
* Provide technical support to DG, Pilot and Labs in support of equipment.
* Oversee all BMS programs and offer support to facility mechanics. 6.4 Capabilities
* Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating.
* Working knowledge of boiler systems.
* Proficient in balancing air and water treatment systems in line with HVAC protocols.

* Proficient in mechanical and electrical installation of equipment
* Proficient in troubleshooting electrical equipment and PLC's.
* Proficient in facility maintenance and equipment.
* Oversee mechanical services including both Facilities and scientific areas FMO support.
* Repair and maintain Facility, Production and Formulation equipment through means of preventive maintenance program.

* Maintain all equipment to meet with L'Oreal and OSHA safety requirements.
* Install and maintain equipment which directly supports Facility operations (DI Water, Compressed air, Chilled water).
* Ability to assist with Set ups and disassemble filling equipment as required by production scheduling.
