Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining security architecture across business functions with a specific emphasis on cloud and data security. Leads efforts to identify vulnerabilities, implement remediation strategies, and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations. Performs security assessments of company products that may include vulnerability and risk assessments, threat analysis, and security code reviews to identify potential design and implementation vulnerabilities. Designs and develops security features for products including systems, applications and/or solutions. Detects and mitigates security risks, responds to enterprise security incidents, and works with customers regarding enterprise security related issues.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Work alongside the engineering and non-engineering teams, providing expert leadership and advice on secure architecture, design, and implementation.

  • Level up your skills securing modern languages and technologies running in a true multi-cloud/SaaS environment like Snowflake, AWS, GCP, Azure, Salesforce and many more.

  • Lead with code, automation and data in everything you do

  • Drive security impact across Snowflake with strong support from the business

WHAT YOU NEED :
  • You have helped build an application security program before, and have a clear vision for how you would make it better

  • You have multi year (>5 years) experience with secure architecture and driving security initiatives

  • You have real world experience in some of basic security concepts like Identity, Data protection, Monitoring and IR in the cloud services space.

  • You have prior experience in working with off the shelf SaaS products and services.

  • You have a proven ability to manage yourself and produce results

  • You can learn and find bugs in any language, specifically Java, JavaScript, Go, and Python

  • You have expert knowledge of security testing tools and techniques

  • You are a strong communicator who is comfortable working cross-functionally, with a track record of delivering results and demonstrating strong ownership.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $198,000 - $303,600.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
