Field Services Student Technician, Steam Generator

We're hiring a Nuclear Field Student Technician to join our Steam Generator team in Madison, PA. This individual will support our Inspection Service Business, a nuclear industry leader in nondestructive examination. As a team member on the Inspection Services team, you will get to work on assignments to support manual and robotic inspections, as well as component cleaning services. We are a fast-paced environment so specific projects may vary.

Your Day-to-Day:

• 
  

  Work closely with experienced technicians and engineers on inspection tooling for a variety of services.

  
  

• 
  

  Detail oriented tool preparation to support teams deployed to outages.

  
  

• 
  

  Disassemble, clean, decontaminate, inspect, install, repair, and assemble basic equipment (mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic).

  
  

• 
  

  Site specific training, radiation safety, hazard communication and rigging.

  
  

• 
  

  Demonstrate, understand and practice Human Performance Tools, INPO Principals, Industrial Health & Safety, and ALARA principals, specific security requirements, and the importance of observing both Westinghouse and customer license requirements.

  
  

• 
  

  Take initiative on assigned tasks with little oversight.

  
  

Qualifications:

  Must be a student and 18 years old

  Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
