PURPOSE AND SCOPE This position is responsible for laying out fabrications, tacking weldments together, and welding components to customer supplied specifications with the highest level of quality. This position is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, while working with supervisors/leadership to make suggestions for improvement to products and processes. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
KNOWLEDGE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees ofan organization. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructionsfurnishedin written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
