Must have a valid driver's license to rent cars. Our major Healthcare client is looking for a Junior Corporate Event Planner to join their team on a temp-to-perm basis. The Junior Corporate Event Planner is part of the Enterprise Corporate Events team, a division of the Marketing department. Their mission is to create and execute innovative brand experiences for our business partners and customers that foster growth, retention and reflect our corporate goals and objectives. This individual will be responsible for managing meetings, trade shows and sponsorships within the Center of Excellence. Day to day, this individual will work with key business stakeholders to establish and implement results-based programs and innovative initiatives for the corporate events area, under general supervision, with a focus on delivering best in class events that help influence our constituents, industry and grow our brand. This person will apply in-depth knowledge of the corporate events field to offer feedback for decisions and innovation strategies that enhance organizational growth and visibility, while ensuring our teams' services are consistent across all projects. Responsibilities:
- Controls planning, implementation and management components of both in-person and virtual meetings, tradeshows and sponsorships that support internal business partner goals and objectives
- Communicates with stakeholders and team internally and externally to establish appropriate event strategies and clearly communicate objectives, project status and updates on a regular basis.
- Configures budgets for all shows and events, manage and track all events through Cvent, the company's software management systems.
- Identifies opportunities to source creative event options and activations, off-site venues, and entertainment based on program format and budget.
- Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
- Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships by delivering the highest level of customer service while delivering successful event outcomes
- Partner with internal business partners and teams to establish appropriate event strategies and project plans, ensuring clear communications of objectives, timelines, budget, project status, expectations while providing updates on a regular basis.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams such as legal, IT, HR, and marketing to facilitate components of meetings and various needs.
- Partner with procurement on legal contracts, SOW's, LOA's.
Fundamental Components:
- Works in collaboration with the corporate meetings & events team on agreed upon events from start to finish, including venue sourcing, pre-event planning, project management, registration management, budget management, onsite event support, final reconciliation and billing accuracy, meeting close out and other duties.
- Project manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative extremely fast paced environment.
- Partners with external relationships (agencies, vendors) and works with cross-functional internal teams; creative services, marketing operations, which support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs.
- Provide onsite support to implement meetings and events.
- Ensures compliance policy and procedures are followed, completes all required approvals and processes.
- Delivers operational requirements and tasks in the agreed timeline per internal stakeholder requests.
- Remains current and updated on industry trends in event management and integrates them into the design of the event, when applicable.

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 3-5 years of meeting management with internal and external customers.
- Cvent expertise (RFP, website development, overall management, communications, reporting)

The target hiring compensation range for this role is $30 to $35 an hour. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
