Scrum Master

The selected Scrum Master will have strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills with a keen attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Lead Scrum Team in prioritizing features, user stories, and identifying team velocity in an Agile development environment
• Work with Product Owners to identify priorities, participate in Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and lead team stand-up meetings.
• Work collaboratively among cross-functional teams to execute timely releases of code.
• Identifies, defines and captures requirements, features, and user stories in Jira/Confluence.
• Develops or provides technical input to engineering artifacts

Basic Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of relevant experience OR a Master's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience OR a PhD with 3+ years of relevant experience; an additional 4 years of experience maybe considered in lieu of a degree requirement
• Experience as a Scrum Master on an Agile Scrum team or leading diversified software development teams
• Experience in Software Development, Integration, or other IT related projects
• Experience working in an AWS/cloud architecture environment
• Experience working with data models, REST-based microservices, OpenAPI specification
• Systems integration experience
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and technical troubleshooting skills
• Ability/willingness to work 100% onsite in a secure environment
• TS/SCI with ability to obtain Poly

Desired

• Certification: Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM)
• Ability to understand technical legacy systems and associated component functionalities.
