Job Description

Overview

TheProduct and Business Analyst, DPS Debit Productis responsible for identifying, designing, and implementing process improvements that boost efficiency and support data-driven decision-making. Reporting to the Vice President of DPS Debit Processing, this role will enhance operational performance across debit product teams by leveragingGenerative AI (GenAI)and other emerging technologies.

In addition to core process improvement efforts, the analyst will deliver on initiatives and key administrative tasks to include:

  • Provide operational and tactical support for debit product initiatives, including Visa Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), treasury reconciliation, and other key administrative tasks.

  • Leadspecial projects, includingarchitecting key documentsin collaboration with technical writers to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency in product materials.

  • Conduct research and analysis to inform product enhancements, strategic decisions, and market positioning.

By driving innovation, streamlining workflows, and supporting critical operations, the Product and Business Analyst will help debit product teams work more efficiently, respond quickly to market needs, and deliver exceptional products and services to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Improvement Using GenAI: Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies in product workflows and implementGenerative AI-powered solutionsto enhance productivity, collaboration, and operational outcomes.

  • Workflow Automation: Build and refine automated processes that reduce manual tasks, improve quality, and accelerate deliverable timelines across teams.

  • Visa Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Support: Assist in managing the end-to-end PLM process for debit products, ensuring compliance with Visa requirements and timely completion of all lifecycle stages.

  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with product managers, operations, and technology teams to design and implement AI-driven tools that improve communication and information sharing.

  • Research & Market Analysis: Conduct targeted research on market trends, competitive products, regulatory updates, and emerging technologies to inform debit product strategies.

  • Data-Driven Insights: Analyze operational and product performance data to identify opportunities for product improvements, cost savings, and market differentiation.

  • Change Management: Support the rollout of new tools and processes, providing training and ensuring adoption across teams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Maintain a backlog of process improvement opportunities, track their impact, and continuously refine AI-enabled workflows to adapt to evolving business needs.

  • Stakeholder Communication: Prepare and deliver clear, concise updates for leadership and stakeholders in a well written effective way. Excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills is a must with the ability to synthesize complex information in a concise way for leadership.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze processes, identify inefficiencies, recommend and implement solutions.
  • Demonstratable excellent written, oral, and visual communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
  • Experience with Generative AI tools and their application in business process automation.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira).
  • Experience in the payments or related industry.
  • Familiarity with the Product Management discipline.
  • Experience with process mapping and workflow design.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) is a plus.
Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 100,000.00 to 131,250.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
